Technical audit
Crawl errors, redirect chains, canonical tags, robots rules, sitemaps, HTTPS and mobile rendering.
Technical SEO consulting · International and multilingual sites
Kodem's technical SEO consulting is carried out by the same engineers who build websites, so audit findings turn into code changes rather than a report waiting for a developer. We cover crawling and indexing, structured data, Core Web Vitals, multilingual set-up and content planning, with a monthly report that explains what changed and why.
What a monthly report answers
Our approach
Duplicate pages competing for the same query, redirect chains left over from an old migration, structured data that does not validate, slow pages on mobile: these are the issues that hold sites back, and each one is fixed in code.
That is why our consulting starts with a technical crawl rather than a keyword list. Once the foundations are sound, content and internal linking can do their work. If Kodem built your site, we apply the fixes directly. If another team did, we write precise tickets and check their changes.
For companies selling across borders, much of the work is multilingual: separate addresses per language, correct hreflang pairs and an Arabic version that search engines treat as its own page, not a duplicate.
Scope
The order matters: content published on a site that cannot be crawled properly is wasted effort.
Crawl errors, redirect chains, canonical tags, robots rules, sitemaps, HTTPS and mobile rendering.
Pages competing for the same query are found and merged, redirected or rewritten.
Organisation, service, FAQ, breadcrumb and product markup, validated page by page.
Images, render path and script weight, working towards LCP within 2.5 s, INP within 200 ms and CLS within 0.1.
Language-specific addresses, hreflang, right-to-left Arabic pages and market-specific keyword maps.
A keyword and topic map, competitor gap analysis and updates to existing pages before new ones are written.
How consulting runs
Each cycle ends with a measurement, so the next month starts from data rather than assumptions.
Who does what
We consult on sites we did not build as well as our own. The difference is who applies the changes.
| Area | Site built and hosted by Kodem | Site built by another team |
|---|---|---|
| Technical fixes | Applied directly by our engineers | Specified as tickets; changes checked after release |
| Structured data | Written into the templates and validated | Markup supplied and validated once installed |
| Core Web Vitals | Images, caching and scripts changed in our code | Findings and target values handed to your developers |
| Content | Drafted, approved and published by our team | Drafted and approved; published by your team |
| Reporting | Monthly, from Search Console and analytics | Monthly, from Search Console and analytics |
Measured outcomes
Figures from audits and tests on our own projects, measured on handover day.
SEO-led projects
Clients are anonymised. The method behind each figure is shown with the case.
Pages covering the same topic were competing against each other in search results. The content was re-planned and moved to custom code with service, area, glossary and regulation pages.
How it was measured: Redirects were checked with automated tests, page overlap with a keyword-matching audit, and structured data on 123 pages with a validation tool.
Malicious code had been planted on the old server. 101 products, each with its own original usage text, were moved to a clean infrastructure together with beekeeping calculators and a glossary.
How it was measured: Findings were measured with a site-wide SEO audit script, pages with an automated test suite, and speed with Lighthouse.
Pages focused on services, training and organised industrial zones; service and FAQ structured data on every service, with automatically generated cover images.
Projects are anonymised: we do not publish client names without written consent. Figures are from handover-day tests; live values may change over time.
Questions
No. Nobody controls search results, and a consultant who promises a position is guessing. We commit to the work: findings, fixes, content and an honest monthly report on what moved and what did not.
Technical fixes are usually picked up as search engines recrawl the affected pages; content and authority take longer and depend on competition in your market. We report every month, so you can see the direction rather than wait for a single verdict.
Yes. We audit it, write the technical changes as clear tickets for your developers and check them after release. Content and reporting work the same way as on our own sites.
Yes. Arabic pages get their own addresses, right-to-left layout and hreflang pairs with the English versions, and keyword research is done for each market rather than translated from English.
Clean structured data, clear answers near the top of each page and an llms.txt file help AI search tools understand and cite a site. We include these in the technical work.
The Performance ($2,000) and Enterprise ($3,000) website plans include 12 months of SEO consulting. For existing sites, consulting is a monthly fee set in a written quote after the initial review.
A free video call to go through the main technical findings, then a written proposal for the work and the monthly scope.
A free discovery call, then a written, itemised quote. No obligation.
