Nilüfer, Bursa · Building software since 2018

An engineering studio that writes each project for one business only.

Kodem is a software engineering studio in Bursa, Türkiye, that has been writing websites, online stores and business systems from scratch since 2018. We start from what a company needs, not what a template allows, and stay responsible after launch.

  • Scope and price agreed in writing
  • The engineer who wrote it answers your questions
  • English and Arabic communication

The short version

2018The year we started writing software

UTC+3Same working hours as Riyadh, Kuwait City and Doha

Bursa’s business community is small; if you meet someone in your industry who knows Kodem, do not be surprised.

Our story

Plenty of firms build websites. Fewer build ones that bring in work.

We kept meeting businesses whose sites looked like their competitors' because they ran on the same theme. Others had paid heavily for "digital transformation" and been left with half-finished projects and developers who vanished after handover.

Kodem was set up to earn back that lost trust. Saying so is easy; proving it takes a written scope, a schedule in the contract, results measured at handover, and a team you can still reach after launch.

Our missionTo help companies that have had a bad experience with software suppliers trust their digital systems again.
  • Every project written from scratch for its owner
  • Measured at handover, not described with adjectives
  • Managed by the same team after launch

What we commit to

Promises we can write down and you can check.

We only commit to what can be put on paper or measured.

Itemised scope and price

Every page and module listed; the approved price does not change.

A staged schedule

Milestones set after discovery and written into the contract.

Evidence at handover

Speed report, signed acceptance record and, for replacements, a redirect map.

Your domain, your data

Domain registered in your name; content and data are yours.

Updates stay with us

Security updates and maintenance after launch, response times in the contract.

Security as standard

Security and data protection in every build, never an extra charge.

Why from scratch

Six reasons we do not start from a template.

Templates are sold as the faster option, yet that quick solution is often rebuilt a few years later.

01

Templates make companies look alike

Two competitors on one theme look alike. A site written for you does not.

02

Speed affects enquiries

Load time shows up in enquiry rates. In our own code, nothing unused is shipped.

03

Less to attack

Without third-party plugins the attack surface stays small, and fixes do not wait for someone else's release.

04

Room to grow

Features stacked on a template pile up technical debt; a planned system takes new modules cleanly.

05

Search built into the structure

Structured data, Core Web Vitals and language tags are part of the skeleton, not add-ons.

06

Predictable running costs

No licence renewals; hosting and maintenance are priced in the quote and fixed afterwards.

How the team is organised

A small senior team, one owner per project.

We keep the core team small on purpose: clear responsibility makes better software than a long staff list. One senior engineer owns each project from first call to launch and is the person you speak to.

Security is designed in from day one: server hardening, security testing and data protection are part of the normal process. Engineering students join us as interns and work on real projects under supervision.

What it means for youNo anonymous queue: from the first meeting you know who is writing your project.
  • Architecture, database and code handled by the same engineer
  • Security considered at design stage, not after launch

Our values

Principles for the difficult moments.

How we act when scope is debated, a stage runs late, or a request falls outside the contract.

Openness

Progress, cost and risk discussed plainly; extra scope approved in writing first.

Code quality first

Clean architecture, a documented process and handover documents, every time.

Tied to business goals

Each decision is linked to the enquiries or efficiency the system should deliver.

Continuous learning

We track architecture, security and performance practice and apply what works.

Reliability

We keep to the contracted schedule and support terms. If something slips, you hear it from us first.

Space to grow

A modular structure lets the system expand with the business.

Working with clients abroad

Distance changes the channel, not the process.

Clients abroad follow the same stages as those who visit our office. Türkiye is on UTC+3, like Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Qatar, so our working days overlap.

  1. Video discovery callWe learn how your business sells and operates. Free, with no obligation.
  2. Written milestonesThe quote is itemised in USD and the schedule is divided into milestones in the contract.
  3. Private preview linksEach stage goes on a private address for you to review and approve.
  4. English or ArabicEmails and messages in English or Arabic, contracts and project documents in English, with one point of contact throughout.

Questions

Questions about Kodem

Where is Kodem based, and how long has it been operating?

Our office is at Fethiye Mah. Kale Sk. No:19, 16140 Nilüfer, Bursa, Türkiye. We have been building websites and business software since 2018. Office hours are Monday to Friday 09:00–18:00 and Saturday 10:00–15:00 (UTC+3).

Who will actually work on our project?

One senior engineer owns your project from the first call to launch and remains your contact afterwards. You know who that person is from the first meeting.

Can we work with you entirely from the Gulf?

Yes. Discovery takes place on video, contracts and approvals go by email, and every stage is shared on a private preview link. Because Türkiye shares UTC+3 with Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Qatar, our working hours overlap with yours.

Who owns the domain, content and source code?

Kodem develops your software, hosts it on servers in Türkiye and keeps it up to date. The source code stays with Kodem. Your domain is registered in your name, and your content and data are always yours.

What happens if we decide to end the service?

Your content and data are handed over free of charge in standard formats (CSV/JSON and media files), together with a list of your URLs. The domain is already registered in your name.

Meet the engineer who would build it.

Book a free discovery call on video. We listen first, then send an itemised quote in USD.
