Frequently asked questions
The questions we are asked most about appointments, examinations and the treatment process. Questions about your personal situation are answered by your dentist at the examination.
Appointments and visits
How do I make an appointment?
Send us your preferred time range and a short description of your concern by WhatsApp or email; we reply within working hours to confirm. You do not need to fill in a form.
What happens at the first appointment?
We listen to your concern, carry out an oral examination and take an X-ray if needed. The findings and treatment options are explained and the plan is made together. Whether treatment starts in the same session depends on the case.
What should I bring?
A list of the medication you take regularly, information about chronic conditions and allergies, and any previous X-rays and treatment records.
How do I change my appointment?
Just write to us on the same channel (WhatsApp or email) and we will send you the available options. If you cannot attend, letting us know in advance frees the time for other patients.
Is there a separate arrangement for children?
Paediatric appointments start with an introductory visit, and a parent stays with the child throughout. The process is planned according to the child's age and how well they cope.
Treatment process
How many sessions does treatment take?
The number of sessions depends on the type of treatment and the individual case. After the examination your dentist shares an indicative schedule, which may be updated as treatment progresses.
Is anaesthesia used during treatment?
Local anaesthesia is used for procedures that need it. What kind is used for which procedure is explained at the examination, and your drug allergies are recorded beforehand.
Is written information given before treatment?
Yes. The planned procedure, its stages and possible risks are explained, and treatment starts after you have read and signed the consent form.
Are X-rays and imaging done here?
Panoramic X-rays are taken at the clinic. If a 3D scan is needed, we refer you; you can bring any existing images with you.
Is a check-up needed after treatment?
For most treatments a follow-up visit is planned. The intervals depend on the treatment and are shared with you.
Hygiene and accessibility
How is sterilisation ensured?
Instruments are washed, packed and sterilised in an autoclave after every patient. Single-use items are opened in front of the patient, and surfaces are disinfected between patients.
Is the clinic accessible by wheelchair?
The entrance is step-free, and the doors and waiting area are suitable for wheelchairs. If you have a particular need, mention it in your appointment request and we will arrange it.
How is my personal data stored?
Examination records and images are kept only for treatment purposes, in line with the law, and are not shared with third parties.
